Cupcake Recipe in 10 steps!

This is for a plain recipe

Everyone loves cupcakes and they are so simple to make and you don’t need many ingredients or cooking utensils. Here is my guide to making your own cup cakes.

Makes: 12 cup cakes

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 15 Minutes.

Ingredients

  • 100g butter or margarine
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 100g self-raising flour, sifted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

Method.

1. Wash your hands with soap, put on an apron and get out all ingredients and utensils

2. Preheat oven to 180 or gas mark 4 and put 12 cases into a baking tray

3. Put 100g of caster sugar into a bowl

4. Put 100g of butter into in the same bowl

5 Beat the ingredients with an electric whisk till cream and fluffy

6 Add the eggs one at a time and Add in the vanilla essence

7 Carefully fold in the flour and baking powder

8. Carefully spoon the mixture into the twelve paper cases

9. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes

10.  Turn off the oven and take the cup cakes out to cool

Tip:  Clean up as you go to save time
